Founded in 1987, the American Indian Dance Theatre shares the music, movement and spectacle of a vibrant and living culture. The company is the first Native American performing arts group to receive both Grammy and Emmy Award nominations. The current company is comprised of twenty dancers and musicians from the Comanche, Cherokee, Navajo, Southern Ute, Sioux and Zuni tribes.
