With more than 50 years in the music industry, Paul Anka is one of the most prolific songwriters of our time. Anka established himself as a successful artist and songwriter by penning Top 10 U.S. hits such as, “You Are My Destiny,” “Lonely Boy,” “Put Your Head On My Shoulder,” “Puppy Love,” “Dance On Little Girl” and, his biggest, “Diana.” In addition to his own winning titles, he’s scored hits of other kinds: he contributed one of the most recognizable theme songs in television history — the theme for NBC’s “The Tonight Show.” Then, in 1969, he wrote “My Way” for Frank Sinatra, followed two years later with “She’s A Lady” for Tom Jones. It doesn’t get any bigger.
