The Georgian State Dance Company firmly dispels any quaint notions
of traditional Georgian dance with their electrifying performances.
The two-hour display is an unrestrained celebration of Georgian
culture through traditional music and dance, representing themes
of ceremony, work, games and comedy. The technical precision shown
by each performer is finely balanced between singular displays
of athletic prowess and deft manipulation within a mass of bodies.
Their flowing silk gowns, tunics and sashes create stunning visual
patterns.
