Three powerhouse Christian performers grace the Ferguson Center this season: Christian super group Point of Grace, Jaci Velasquez and Nashville-based jam band Salvador. Point of Grace’s new album, “No Changin’ Us,” is the natural evolution of the group’s country-tinged sound and reflective of its expansion into mainstream country. Jaci Velasquez, at 28 years of age, is one of the world’s most successful and beloved Christian/Latin/pop singers and has audiences hanging on every word. Salvador’s new album, “Aware,” amply demonstrates the virtue of the American work ethic in fresh expressions of worship that are at once culturally relevant and original, all-the-while sounding effortless, seamless and spontaneous.
