Jethro Tull formed in 1968, when Ian Anderson brought his unique and innovative style of flute playing to a public raised on guitar-based British bands. In 1971 "Aqualung" provided Tull with major international success. Ian Anderson (flute and vocals) and Martin Barre (guitar) still provide the musical and historical backbone of the group. With 60 million albums sold, the band continues to perform 100 concerts per year to their legions of fans.
